Derrick Nicholas has been a guide and outfitter for over 10 years, and has guided and become friends with some of the biggest names in the industry. He was born and raised in the heart of Texas, and grew up with hunting as a way of life, not a pastime. Derrick's hunting ability is far beyond the average hunter, and he lives and breathes the outdoors. With this combination and Derrick appearing on various hunting shows, it has made him one of the Lone Star States most sought after guides. Derrick met Brian at an Outdoor Expo in Louisiana where Derrick was promoting his whitetail hunts and Brian was conducting seminars. From there a whitetail hunt was scheduled for a XOA TV episode, and a friendship was born. Now Derrick has joined the XOA team and looks forward to sharing his passion and knowledge with others.
