Misty Doty co-hosts XOA TV with her husband Brian. Misty and Brian help raise money for the Children’s Advocacy Center each year and work closely with the Military Warrior Support Foundation taking wounded soldiers on hunts.

Misty helps with bookkeeping, scheduling hunts and appearances, and attends several of the outdoor expos where Brian gives seminars. "How she still has time to keep the household running smoothly is a mystery. From getting our son, Hunter to and from school, to homework and baseball practice when I’m on the road, Misty truly is the backbone of this organization. In the field, Misty is a hunter and angler through and through. Along with putting many fish in the livewell, Misty will give most guys a run for their money when it comes to sealing the deal on a trophy animal," said Brian.

Misty has harvested multiple species of game with her rifle across the States and Africa and has recently taken up bow hunting big game, and loves it. Although the hunting lifestyle was introduced to her later in life by her husband, she approaches it with the same intensity as her full time occupation. For the past eleven years she has worked as a pediatric nurse in a children's hospital. "Pediatric nursing is my true passion in life. Helping these families and their babies through one of the most difficult times in their lives is something I am blessed to do."

Misty's compassion and hard work is not only apparent in her nursing career but also with the work she does with Brian Doty Outdoors. "We are blessed as a family to be able to be outdoors in God’s creation and hunt together and share our passion with others. Our plans are to soon have a camp were children can come learn about hunting and the outdoors and keep the traditions going."
